We make the ordinary extraordinary by offering the humble paper cup as a canvas to promote talented artists and connect consumers to the environment. Check out #biocupartseries on Instagram to see our vibrant community.
BioCup double wall takeaway coffee cups are designed with an extra layer of paperboard and a textured pattern for additional insulation to protect consumers. Double wall paper cups are a more economical and eco-friendly solution than double-cupping extra-hot drinks like teas and long blacks.
BioCups are made from premium paperboard and lined with Ingeo™ – a bioplastic made from plants, not oil. We use a heavy-duty, premium quality board giving our paper coffee cups superior stability, better lid fit and insulation.
They are designed to be commercially composted as part of the circular economy and are certified industrially compostable to Australian standards (AS4736) and European standards (EN13432).
Our disposable coffee cups are printed with non-toxic, environmentally-friendly water or soy-based inks.
We have a universal lid solution in our Art Series range – our large-sized lids fit all our 8, 12 & 16 90mm diameter BioCups.
Our disposable coffee cups with lids have a 12-month shelf life.
Clear and accurate data is essential to understanding our impact on the environment and finding solutions to reduce it. The label below shows how a carton of this product impacts our planet. As a leader in sustainable packaging, this label is our way of being transparent, accountable, and committed to combating greenwashing.
The eco-cost below, calculated per carton, offers our customers a straightforward metric to understand and compare the environmental impacts of our products. Please note that it is not a hidden or added fee to the product's market price.
The eco-cost is independently calculated across four categories – biodiversity loss, effects on human health, material scarcity, as well as the more standard carbon emissions. BioPak utilises this data to identify areas with the greatest potential for environmental impact reduction, it is our job to reduce the eco-cost and your impact.
